Vita Media Group, a Danish online gaming company the specialises in lead generation on Thursday announced that it is funding a demining project in Ukraine.
Recently, Vita Media Group’s CEO Jimmi Meilstrup and the Danish Support Group Ukraine, a newly formed non-governmental organization from Denmark, started working on the idea of securing a safer life for the Ukrainian people by clearing out mine-polluted areas.
“I have seen the list of mines and bombs left in Ukraine and it’s just devastating and horrible to think of the consequences for the civilians. I, as a person, and we, as a company, felt we needed to do something about the war in Ukraine. The horrors of war have never brought anything good. The sight of Ukrainian roads, schools, hospitals, and cities polluted with mines and ammunition remnants are not a sight we want to see in the world. And that is why we sent a crew to Ukraine to demine ammunition and mines,” said Mr Meilstrup.
The collaboration between Vita Media Group and Danish Support Group Ukraine has secured a partnership with Damasec Global Group, which are offering the expertise needed to approach the areas of hostilities and clear out the remnants that pose a threat to everyone living in Ukraine.
The on-site teams will follow the lead of Andy Gleeson who offers extensive knowledge in demining with over 18 years of experience in the world’s hottest war-affected areas.
Very soon, Vita Media Group will publish a website where all interested parties can learn how they can contribute to the project, and how the on-site work of clearing mines in Ukraine is progressing.
“Every team member in Vita Media Group is proud that their work in the company will provide millions of Ukrainians with a safer future and is contributing to a safer world.”
