Newly-formed Strive Gaming has appointed Sebastian Rydhed as its new head of operational services and announced its setting up of a new operational base in Malta.

It welcomed Mr Rydhed as its new head of operational services, saying he will play an “imperative part in [the] businesses’ exponential growth”.

He joins the position with a range of experience at his back, including stints at Betsson, which owns a 35 per cent stake in Strive.

More recently, Mr Rydhed served as head of gaming operations at KTO Group, after joining in 2018 as marketing and operations manager.

His appointment at Strive comes amongst a number of high-profile appointments at the company, which was set up by former Kambi Global Sales VP Damian Xuereb.

Strive Gaming promises to be the “first iGaming platform business specifically set up to satisfy the modern, multi-state requirements of North American operators.

“Strive is bringing to market a leading technology Player Account Management, with a unique value driver in our infinity rules engine”, said Mr Xuereb at its launch.

“Strive arrives into the market without technology debt, 100 per cent focus on the North America market and a dedicated team and operation that is ready for the market and [its] first partners”.

Other appointments include Max Meltzer as CEO and Jesse Cary as CTO.
