Content provider Pragmatic Play, which has a significant presence in Malta, has unveiled a €10,000 donation to the YMCA Malta.
Taking to social media to announce the contribution, the company said it was “so happy” to be able to support the “amazing organization”, through a donation to help the underprivileged receive social work services.
The endowment will be used by the NGO, which also provides shelter to homeless people, to support various different programmes which aid many categories of socially disadvantaged people.
“We believe that every donation matters and that change can come from every single one of us”, the provider said.
“That’s why we’re proud we could help the YMCA get closer to reaching their goal of doing more for our community and providing services to the ones in need.”
Pragmatic Play’s donation is only its latest in a string of charitable moves locally and abroad.
In recent months it also made donations to a number of local animal welfare charities and the Cancer Relief charity in Gibraltar, where the company also has offices.
