Noel Zahra on Wednesday announced that he has been promoted to the position of head of design at MrQ, a UK-based online casino operator.

Mr Zahra first joined the company in June 2021, and occupied the post of head of product design until July of this year. His new role overseeing all design related matters at the company will be based in the UK, at the company’s headquarters in St. Albans.

The company also has offices at the The Brewhouse, a space that was once used as the Farsons Group brewery.

Mr Zahra has worked in design since 2011, starting his career as an interior designer at Design International. He went on to occupy several design and user experience roles at various iGaming companies, such as Carry AB and Casumo.

Taking to social media to share the news, Mr Zahra wrote:

“Stoked to share that I have been moved to oversee all things design at MrQ as Head of Design.

“Hearing that your work is appreciated is nice, but these kinds of actions don’t happen every day for everyone, so this is very humbling and I feel lucky to be part of an organisation that celebrates individuals and that appreciates one’s work. No wonder people at MrQ stick around.

“Really looking forward to working with all our designers to continue taking our brand, our culture and our product to new heights.”
