Betsson veteran Matthew Natoli has been promoted to head of key account management at Betsson Group, he announced.
Taking to social media on Wednesday, he said: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as head of key account management at Betsson Group!”
Mr Natoli is a long-serving member of the group, having joined in 2007 as a live trader, before rising the ranks through the roles of live betting team leader, B2B sportsbook manager, B2B head of sportsbook, B2B key account manager and finally B2B senior key account manager.
Prior to joining Betsson, he served Interwetten as a live trader for two years and five months.
He is a close representation of the firm’s approach towards its staff, it says it counts as amongst its proudest assets.
On this topic, Betsson Group CEO Jesper Svensson said earlier this year: “Ambition is important, for anyone looking to move forward,” while also emphasising the importance of understanding the roles played by different areas of the business.
“You need to understand the customer experience when they interact with products,” he said. Aside from ambition, it is vital to have a passion, whatever it is, according to the CEO.
It appears Mr Natoli embraced this philosophy, moving from customer-facing sportsbook roles, before moving into sportsbook leadership, then account management.
