Former chief people officer at Hero Gaming for nearly five years, Marie Theobald, on Monday announced that she has parted ways with the multi-brand online casino operator to “take on a new challenge” with Malta-based Rhino Entertainment Group.
“I am extremely thankful to have been part of such a great company, the people I’ve worked with and the lessons I’ve learnt.
“Over the years we worked relentlessly, together with the brilliant HR team, leadership team (past and present) and the employees, to build a solid culture and a strong foundation for the business to continue in its growth path. It’s been a great ride with many challenges but many more fun times and many memories which I will forever treasure. I will miss my Heroes immensely!” she wrote to her LinkedIn network.
“I am extremely proud of Andrea Saliba who has taken on the role of Director of People & Culture and the people team Leona Cassar, Valentina Nikolic, Mandy Randon, Anna Schnyder, who I’m sure will all continue working hard, taking fantastic care of the teams and keeping people at the core of Hero’s business strategy.”
Before beginning her new position with Rhino Entertainment Group, of which she has not shared details about the new role, Ms Theobald will be taking a “very much needed short break”, something she has not done since she started working some 20 years ago.
Rhino Entertainment is a Malta-based company founded in 2019. It’s main goal is “to create a long-term technical strategy” for its iGaming clients by defining platform requirements and choosing the best tools that facilitate clients’ operations, thereby boosting revenue.
The company says that it provides both customers and employees with leading technologies, real-life support and an open mind for new ideas and innovations.
