Betsson Groups’ commercial operations manager Izabela Omonkowska Arruda reached an exciting new milestone this week – as she surpassed a decade working at the company.
The leader celebrated the impressive achievement, reflecting that her journey with the company first started 10 years, with her first day falling on Valentine’s Day.
“My first day was filled with all the excitement, nervousness and anxiety one can imagine,” she reminisced.
She joined the company as an account manager, after a stint as an affiliate manager at Nordic Gaming Group and time at Chilipoker.
Discussing her time at Betsson, she said: “Throughout the years I worked with and learned from super talented people and some of them are now household names in the industry.”
The excitement remained, and Ms Omonkowska Arruda stated that throughout the years she worked through hundreds (if not thousands) of campaigns, exciting market entries, changes in regulations and was part of “a fair share” of migrations.
“I experienced some failures but also took invaluable learnings and enjoyed many success,” she added, while reflecting that her personal life also saw some twists and turns, as she became a wife and a mum.
Concluding, she thanked Betsson for its support during the period, saying: “Achieving and being supported in keeping the balance is precious to me.
“It keeps me happy and grounded. Thank you Betsson and looking forward for more to come.”
The deal is the latest agreed by ESA Gaming, with the company enjoying recent global growth and expansion in key markets such as Africa and Italy
