Malta’s association of iGaming companies, iGaming European Network (iGEN) has welcomed Internet Vikings as its 28th member, the association announced on Monday.

Internet Vikings is the second addition to iGEN to have been announced in the space of a week, as last Monday Glitnor Group became the 27th member.

iGEN Chairman Enrico Bradamante celebrated the company’s addition, saying he was “delighted” to welcome it.

“Our iGaming industry association is growing from strength to strength,” he added.

“Internet Vikings is an important extension to the value chain represented by the association”, he said, “and this will ensure an even broader perspective and more complete discussions with internal and external stakeholders”.

On the part of the new member, CEO Peter Ekmark stated that “Internet Vikings is thrilled to be joining iGen”.

“By increasing our collaboration with other key industry stakeholders through this new cooperation, I am certain it will be greatly beneficial for all the parties involved and that together we can do much more for our industry”, he said.

Internet Vikings is a Swedish-based provider established in 2008. It offers services including hosting solutions, domain names and marketing solutions in the field of brand protection that it says make it a “one-stop-shop” for its customers.

The company has “long recognised Malta’s unique position as the iGaming capital of Europe” he added, and through its investments in the country Internet Vikings has “strived to contribute to the advancement of the online gaming sector”.
