Ieva Krasovska on Thursday shared that she has been appointed Head of Live Casino at iGaming firm LeoVegas Group’s operations office in Malta.

She proceeded to thank the company and Director of Gaming James Ford for giving her the “opportunity to lead the way for live casino”.

Her new role comes after more than four years at LeoVegas Group, where she served in various positions, including Senior Payments Agent, Live Casino Coordinator, Senior Live Casino Coordinator, Junior Live Casino Manager, and most recently Live Casino Manager. As the latter, she was entrusted with “developing and carrying out” the growth strategy of the group’s live casino brands, as well as building and retaining relationships with live casino game providers, among other responsibilities.

Prior to that, she worked as Senior Fraud and Payments Specialist at yourbet.com for a year. Ms Krasovska also had a five-year experience at Evolution Gaming, during which time she was Risk Manager, Shift Manager – Pitboss, as well as Game Presenter – Dealer.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and Business from University of Latvia, and over the years she has become particularly skilled in employee engagement, supplier negotiation, and user experience testing.

LeoVegas Group’s operations are based in Malta, with hundreds of staff based on the island, while its technological development centre is located in Sweden. The group offers online casino, live casino, and sports betting through 10 brands in nine jurisdictions, and describes itself as “one of the most innovative companies” in the iGaming industry. In 2022, the group was acquired by global entertainment company MGM Resorts International after a €602.6 million bid was accepted by shareholders.
