Co-founder and CEO of LeoVegas Group, Gustaf Hagman, is celebrating 10 years since the company’s launch, and shared a series of images from its “nerve-wracking” launch night which depict the stress and excitement of the bold first step.
He says the photos are a “fair depiction of life as a budding entrepreneur: painkillers, long hours, and soft drinks alternated with champagne.”
Mr Hagman continues by sharing the story behind LeoVegas’ origins, saying that it started from a “simple idea” shared at a barbeque parti with Robin Ramm Ericson one summer evening.
From there, it progressed to a “fledgling start-up”, and now, “an international group with over 850+ employees and 24+ million signups worldwide since the inception”.
Mr Hagman shares that the Group successfully identified an untapped niche: the mobile casino, “and mobile first has been part of the Group’s DNA ever since.”
“I’m incredibly proud of everyone at LeoVegas Group – both veterans and newcomers – and all that we’ve achieved. Looking forward to many more years of being at the forefront of our industry and delivering the greatest gaming experience to our customers!”
