Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has strengthened its sales team and its US presence with the appointment of David Elmore as vice-president of sales for North America.
He brings a breadth of experience to the role, as something of a veteran of the gambling sales industry, working for the last 14 years at GLI, a gaming industry testing, certification and professional services firm based in New Jersey.
In this position he worked primarily on the ‘testing’ vertical, selling to land-based casino groups, local tribes and working with the regulator in their delivery, most recently as global sales and development manager.
In his new position at GiG, he will be responsible for contributing and delivering the commercial strategy across North America, including ensuring that the company’s solutions and services are at the forefront of every platform tender in North America.
Martin Collins, director of sales and business development at GiG commented: “I am delighted to welcome David to the team and for GiG to be able to leverage his extensive network and knowledge of the complex but very lucrative US market.
“GiG has a rich history in delivering solutions and we believe our continued innovation across our product portfolio and market-leading services are incredibly relevant in the markets and we are sure with David on board, we can accelerate growth in these markets.”
Mr Elmore responded to the appointment, saying he was “honoured” to join the GiG team.
“I am eager to build on the solid foundation that has been developed over the last decade. GiG is perfectly positioned to partner. with State and Tribal clients to digitally transform their gaming business and to create a unique customer experience.
“Success for GiG and our clients is based on integrity, loyalty, and long-term trust. These core values support the building of GiG’s presence in North America,” he added.
The appointment comes as GiG is making its intentions clear in the US, expanding into the jurisdiction aggressively while preparing a similar drive in Canada.
