Natasha Vella is starting a new position at the Malta Gaming Authority, Malta’s national regulator for the iGaming and Gaming sector, as a Criminal Probity Screening Officer.

Ms Vella brings with her a wealth of experience in law enforcement, having worked as a police sergeant since October 2014.

She worked in the forensic department, within the fingerprints unit and later also took on the role of deputy technical manager of the office.

She is highly skilled in the areas of law enforcement, criminology and forensics, and also has a strong background in AML. Ms Vella graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at the University of Malta in December 2014.

The MGA is responsible for regulating all types of gambling and gaming activities including national lotteries, bingo halls, casinos, gaming parlours and remote gaming.
