Aspire Global has announced the appointment of Jovana Popovic Canaki as its new VP partner success.
Ms Popovic Canaki is a respected iGaming professional, with a proven track record working in leading positions in the iGaming industry, including most recently as managing director of Masterpiece Gaming.
Before that, she served ORYX Gaming for eight years, rising to the position of director of business unit iGaming platform and services in 2019.
Discussing her appointment, Aspire Global explained that the professional has 15 years of diverse leadership experience across the iGaming industry, in both B2B and B2C sectors.
“She is a great add-on to the team, and we are positive that her knowledge and experience will help our partners be even more successful,” it added.
The announcement came the day after Aspire Global released its financial results for the first quarter of the year, showing “record high” revenues of some €46.3 million.
This represented an increase of 31.7 per cent on the same figure for the same period in 2021.
A key event during the quarter was NeoGames’ offer to acquire the firm which would see its entire operations form a new iGaming division within the parent company.
“Together, our companies will generate significant long-term value by creating synergies and capitalising on the key strengths of the entities by positioning them for expansion in both new and existing markets,” commented CEO Tsachi Maimon.
“We look forward to being part of NeoGames and I’m very excited about our promising growth opportunities in this new strong business combination.”
