Air Dice, a Helsinki-based provider of games and services for online casino and bingo operators has announced its receiving of an iGaming licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
Taking to social media to announce the certification, the company described the development as “great news”, adding that fans should “stay tuned” as the licensing is “just the start” and more news will follow.
Victor Borg Barthet, the newly-appointed CEO of the company’s Malta office commented: “We are super excited! This will set the path for the gradual rollout of our quality casino games across MGA licensed casino operators”.
Indeed, the MGA register now shows the company as being registered to provide Type 1 Gaming Services, meaning games of chance played against the house, the outcome of which is determined by a random generator, and shall include casino-type games, including roulette, blackjack, baccarat and poker played against the house.
The new licence means that the company is now registered in three countries, with the other two being Belgium and Great Britain.
Existing customers of the provider include Unibet, Blitz, B!ngoal, betway, Star.Casino and Lucky Games.
